“CASTIGLION UBERTINI”, A MEDIEVAL XII CENTURY VILLAGE, THE HISTORICAL JEWEL THAT HOUSES OUR PREMISES
Our own Tuscan farmhouse dates back to the late medieval period and is located on the edge of the “Valle dell’Inferno” a natural oasis, in the heart of Tuscany. It is an enclave of organic agriculture, amidst rows of “Malvasia” grapevines, plantations of organic strawberries and wild roses, healing herb gardens and olive groves, all in an uncontaminated environment.
This is where we created our natural oasis, with its fully-fledged agricultural produce that gave us our I.C.E.A. (Institutes for Ethical and Environmental Certification) certification. Whoever stays with us feels immersed in a clean, natural microenvironment, made of ancient things and lost flavours.
